Galena -  Cars on the Route

If you're looking to fuel up your body, I highly recommend Sweet Creek Diner and Bakery.
It'll give you a taste of Kansas, both food wise, but also in culture.  A local spot for good reason.

  I wish I took more pictures in Galena.  It is a really cool old town.  Something about the place felt good.
